Have you heard of Phoebe & The Rings? Of course you have! They're the most famous band in town! But lead singer, Phoebe, needs help keeping up her image before the next show. Help her get ready and promote, the shows only a few days away after all!

⚠️WARNING IMPORTANT NOTE⚠️
There is a bug I couldn't fix before the deadline of the gamejam that skips the dress up mini game on certain days if the laptop mini game is played first. I will be working to fix this in the allotted polish phase but if you want the full game experience in this build, please play the dress up mini game first on each day by clicking the mirror. Also the buttons are clickable through the textbox so please make sure to not accidentally click on the laptop through the textbox. This is just how renpy textboxs and screens work, I can't change that at the moment.
edit to add: i have just been made aware of the bug on day 3 that softlocks the user, i will be fixing this in the polish phase. i'm so sorry for the game being incompletable at the time.

hehehehe yes very lacey inspired, i love the entire lacey games franchise!! they’re so good and ghosttundra deserves all the most awesome things in the world i think! but they reintroduced me to my love for this style of flashgame and how well it can be combined with societal horrors of girlhood. all of my love goes to that series. anyway sorry for hijacking your comment for my lacey games manifesto but thank you very much, i’m glad you think its cute
OMFG sorry im responding 13 HOURS LATE i didnt check but thanks for responding i kinda would like a Phoebe series i LOVE this also if you do make series my advise is to maybe add more gameplay other than that this is good and maybe this can get its own identity maybe a sequel could be about the oversexualization of young girls in the industry
I will still play this game again because I want to know how it ends!! But so far I really liked the art, and I'm very curious to know where it will lead me. Do you have plans for phase 2?
I've already told you my feedback in the VOD and in discord haha but I can say it here. Besides the bug which you already knew, the purple color is really hard to read in the dialog. I'd love to see a whole dress up game made by you!
my primary plans for phase two are updating the assets that were rushed towards the end and fixing the current existing bugs! i’ll probably just change the text for all of phoebe’s dialogue to white instead of trying to make it a different shade of purple for each unique textbox to make her look different from the narrator since that would be the most readable. otherwise i don’t have that many plans for phase two unless i get more suggestions! thank you for the feedback, it’s much appreciated!!!
i would also recommend waiting to play it again until the softlock is fixed since it currently blocks the ending from being seen unfortunately :(( i think it was an issue with the compiling so i’ll probably switch it from being browser based to a zip file instead
